Frequently asked questions

What's in the strength accessories collection?

Everything that isn't a machine, rack, or free weight: cable attachments, machine attachments, flooring and mats, barbell clips and collars, suspension trainers, landmine attachments, and more. Accessories are where many home gyms double their exercise variety without buying more equipment.

Which accessories should I buy first?

For most home gyms: start with quality barbell collars (safety + bar protection), a landmine attachment (unlocks 20+ new exercises with your existing bar), rubber flooring (protects your investment), and a basic set of cable attachments (V-bar, rope, single handles). These four categories cover 90% of the accessory value most lifters need.

Do I need to match accessory brand to my equipment brand?

Usually no — cable attachments use universal clips that fit any cable machine, flooring works under any equipment, and barbell clips fit any 2-inch Olympic bar. The exception: machine-specific attachments (like rack-mounted lat pulldowns or dip stations) must match your rack's upright size and hole pattern. Check compatibility notes on product pages.

How do I know what cable attachments work with my machine?

Nearly all commercial cable machines use a standard snap clip that fits all our cable attachments. The only variation is the carabiner/clip style on the attachment itself — most use a spring-loaded snap that works universally. If in doubt, check your machine's end connector type and match it.
