Frequently asked questions
What types of weight machines do you carry?
Our weight machine collection covers every major training category: multi-station gyms for full-body home setups, functional trainers and cable machines for versatile pulley work, Smith machines for guided barbell lifts, and dedicated single-station machines for legs and glutes, chest and shoulders, abs and back, and biceps and triceps.
What's the difference between selectorized and plate-loaded machines?
Selectorized machines have a built-in weight stack with a pin — fast to adjust, safer for solo training, and ideal for circuit-style workouts or shared facilities. Plate-loaded machines require you to load Olympic weight plates manually — lower up-front cost, higher weight ceilings, and a more direct "feel" of the resistance. Busy commercial floors usually favor selectorized; serious home lifters and small studios often mix both.
Are these machines rated for commercial use?
Most of them, yes. Brands like Muscle D Fitness, Body-Solid Pro ClubLine, and XMARK Commercial are built for hotels, apartment gyms, studios, and full-service facilities — typically with 11-gauge steel frames, shrouded weight stacks, and lifetime structural warranties. Lines like Powerline and Synergee are better suited for home and light-commercial use. Each product page lists its intended use and warranty tier.
How do I pick the right machine for my goals?
Start with the movement patterns you train most. If you want full-body versatility in a small footprint, a functional trainer or multi-station gym is the best single-machine investment. If you already have a rack and barbell, fill the gaps — a leg press or leg curl for lower-body isolation, a pec fly or shoulder press for upper-body work. Commercial facilities typically need a balanced mix across all muscle groups.
How much space and ceiling height do I need?
Footprints vary widely — a single-station selectorized machine is typically 4–6 ft long and 3–5 ft wide, while leg press and cable crossover machines can stretch 7–13 ft. Ceiling height matters most for lat pulldowns, cable crossovers, and Smith machines (usually 82–91 in minimum). Every product page lists exact dimensions and minimum ceiling height. If you want help planning a layout, send us your room dimensions.
Do you offer installation and delivery?
Commercial machines ship via LTL freight with curbside delivery included, and lift-gate or inside-delivery upgrades are available at checkout. For larger facility builds, our Commercial team can coordinate white-glove installation and facility layout. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page, and financing is available through Shop Pay and Affirm.
