What are the user height and weight limits for the VersaClimber TS Magnetic?

The TS-M accommodates climbers from 4'2" to 7'1" tall and 65 to 352 lb (29.5–159.7 kg).

How does the magnetic resistance work?

A non-contact eddy-current brake gives 11 settings: level 0 is a no-resistance sprint mode, level 1 is the default, and level 10 provides up to 500 lb. The knob sits beneath the tablet — clockwise slows the step, counter-clockwise speeds it up, and pressing the center returns to level 1.

What can the touchscreen do?

It connects over WiFi to the VersaClimber app for user profiles, Quick HIIT and Intro to Climbing workouts, Monument Challenges, workout history and analytics, plus hundreds of live and on-demand classes with leaderboards (monthly subscription). During a workout it shows feet climbed, current and average feet per minute, percent of your personal max, stroke length and calories.

Which heart rate monitors work with it?

Any open Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chest strap — tap the heart icon on the workout screen to pair, and it reconnects automatically after that. Garmin, Apple Watch and some Polar straps use proprietary connections and will not pair.

Does it need to be plugged in?

It runs on the included 12V DC power supply (90–250V AC input), plugged in at the base or the top of the post. An optional rechargeable battery runs about 13.5 hours and takes 10–16 hours to fully charge; the stackable-base version ships with the battery.

How much floor space does it need?

The standard base is 43" x 46" and the unit is 7'10" tall. For wall mounting, the bracket centerline sits 75" above the floor with the base about 38" from the wall. On stackable bases, 16 units nest in a 4 ft x 21 ft area.
