Before you buy

Will it fit?

  • Working space: at least 6 × 6 ft (1.8 × 1.8 m), or 36 sq ft (3.3 sq m), with 3 ft (1 m) clear around the anchor point.
  • Outdoors: keep 5 ft (1.5 m) clear around the anchor, the indoor clearance plus 2 ft (60 cm).
  • On a door: the ceiling must be at least 12 in (30.5 cm) above the top of the door.

Check before you order

  • Door: solid wood or metal, at least 1.5 in (3.8 cm) thick, and latched or locked while you train.
  • Outdoors: pick a sturdy, weather-resistant anchor such as a tree or a permanent outdoor mount.
  • User weight: for anchors other than a door, contact us, and we'll confirm the rating before you order.

Not the right choice if

  • Shared gym floors that need a locking carabiner: its Quick-Start carabiner doesn't lock.
  • Hollow, glass, sliding or folding doors: the Door Anchor needs a solid wood or metal door.

What do I anchor it to, and how much height and floor space do I need?

A solid door with the Door Anchor, or a tree or pole with the Suspension Anchor. Anchor 7–9 ft (2.1–2.7 m) up or at the top of a door, with a 6 × 6 ft (1.8 × 1.8 m) working space and 3 ft (1 m) clear around it.

What user weight is it rated for?

On a door, the Door Anchor set-up has a 350 lb (158.8 kg) maximum working load. For a tree, pole, or other anchor, contact us, and we'll confirm the rating before you order.

What comes in the box, and which anchors are sold separately?

The trainer, Door Anchor, Suspension Anchor, Xtender with Quick-Start carabiner, Get Started insert, and drawstring mesh backpack. Both anchors are included; the TRX Force App is not.

Is it rated for commercial use, and which warranty applies?

TRX built it with the military in mind for home, outdoor, and on-the-go training. Its Quick-Start carabiner doesn't lock, which matters on shared gym floors. TRX's 2-year Superior Quality Warranty applies, with no separate home or commercial terms; register the product before a claim.
