I’ll start by saying it is comfortable, looks good, the battery life is amazing, and the picture is clear. Now for the negatives… It claims you can answer your phone on it, but I feel I need to clarify that this is kind of pointless because it’s not like on the Apple Watch where you can speak on the watch. Instead, you press to an awe and then you have to yell to the person on the other end to hold on while you actually find and pick up your phone and put it to your ear. If you already have your phone out, you might as well just answer it on your phone screen, so this feature isn’t helpful. You also can’t text from it at all, so it’s really just a way to sometimes see a text when it decides to notify (half the time it does, half the time it doesn’t, so it’s not a reliable way to keep an eye on incoming texts. The reason it’s inconsistent may be due to my next complaint, which is that the watch disconnects from my phone all day long. It usually vibrates to alert me when it does, then when it connects again, which is annoying because as it happens 80 times a day, I’m constantly checking for a notification, as it’s the same vibration as a text, email, school communication message, or phone call but really it’s just to say “phone connected.” Sometimes it’s even that way when my phone is very nearby, but usually it’s because it’s out of range. Which happens at like 30 ft from the phone, so when I walk halfway across the house, it’s no longer connected, which is annoying, especially if you’re coming from the iPhone, which stays connected, no matter the distance as long as you are connected to the wifi. Also, the step count is off. It’s not a huge deal, but if I walk like 20 steps, counting every one, then look at my watch, it’s counted like 24. So if you use the recommended goal of 10k steps a day, your watch is going to celebrate and make you think you hit it at like 8400 steps, which at that point is a very big difference. Anyway, I am not completely unhappy with this purchase, but for the expensive price point, I am a bit disappointed with these aspects of it. The tech should be higher and more accurate for a product that costs hundreds of dollars.
