Garmin G20 & Z30: Ultimate Golf Distance Combo

Needed a range finder and ended up buying the Z30. Then I find out that the Z30 sends the flag distance to this unit. As someone who forgets to charge anything, the solar charging coupled with the Z30 once a year battery replacement, decided to give this combo a shot.

I have the G12 also and the G20 screen is much bigger. The unit feels substantial and the magnet holds like its welded to the cart. The communication between the Z30 and G20 works flawlessly. You shoot the pin, then look back at the G20 and an outline of the green comes up and shows you where on the green the flag is with the pin distance. It worked 100% of the time. I have no idea why the Garmin folks don't advertise this working this way. I would imagine they would sell a lot more.

In either case yes, its $300 but never needs to leave your golf bag and always ready. Works very well and will probably outlive you.
